Background

Our founder, Anne Whitten, started the company in 1974 as a translation agency. At clients' ongoing requests for English/French-speaking personnel, the agency was transformed into Toronto's first dedicated bilingual search firm. Quality, value, and personalized service have always been a cornerstone of the firm, and we remain committed to these principles.

Our People

Suzanne Hague - President & Owner

Suzanne is a graduate of Queen's University and is well known and respected in the industry. She has over 20 years of business experience, including being General Manager of Anne Whitten Bilingual Recruitment, and National Permanent Placement Manager of a large multinational placement agency. Suzanne adheres to the founding principles of the company. She is accomplished at hiring and mentoring winning teams that are dedicated to serving clients with professionalism and delivering outstanding customer service. Suzanne is committed to providing clients with top talent, and in assisting candidates with career opportunities.

Anne Whitten - Director

Our founder is now retired but remains as a Director of the company. One of our key strengths is our high profile in the Francophone community of Toronto: Anne Whitten has served as Co-Chairman of the Bilingual Advisory Committee of Seneca College. She was a co-founder of the Canadian Belgian Business Association, was decorated by the Belgian government for her outstanding work in Toronto's Francophone community, and is an officer of the Order of Leopold II.

Alenka Dolenc - Senior Consultant

Has 15 years industry experience, including branch management of a large multinational temporary staffing firm, and seven years as a Senior Permanent Placement Consultant with a large global staffing company dedicated to sourcing financial and accounting professionals throughout the GTA. Alenka takes a consultative approach with her clients, and has a solid track record of matching the right person to the right job.

Keri Trimble - Senior Consultant

A graduate of the University of Alberta, Keri began her recruitment career in 1996 in a corporate role that combined recruitment and training, both nationally and internationally. Keri moved into third-party recruitment in 1999 and has honed her skills in a global staffing organization, as well as in a boutique search firm where she focused on management and "difficult to fill" roles. Her strong generalist experience and dedication to both clients and candidates are the cornerstones of her success. In addition to her recruitment experience Keri has several years of business to business account management experience.

Jeanine Macario - Bilingual Recruiter

Brings a solid eight years of dedication to the Anne Whitten Bilingual team. Jeanine started her career with us as a temporary employee, and later joined full-time as Bilingual Administrator. In her current role, Jeanine has proven time and again that she understands client requirements, and is able to consistently deliver outstanding customer service to all whom she encounters.

Marie-Laure Ducarre - Bilingual Administrator

Is our first point of contact. Both candidates and clients are always impressed with her friendly enthusiasm and efficiency. She is a wonderful addition to our team.
